Description
The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden is a tight psychological thriller that keeps the reader on their toes with full twists. The story begins with Millie Calloway, a young woman desperate for work, taking a live-in housemaid job with a wealthy family known as the Winchester family, where everything seemed perfect but would rapidly take dark turns.
Millie becomes uncomfortable with the sinister dynamics existing inside the house, watching over Nina Winchester and her unstable nature: controlling and manipulative. Millie begins to find that Winchesters conceal dark secrets and may be exposing her to risks far greater than she had envisioned.
Consuming is the atmosphere, terrible characters and bombs galore in The Housemaid about deception, power, and survival from a domestic thriller perspective.
