Description
The Blue Sister is a mystery and crime novel by the Swedish author Anna Ekberg. As follows is her story about Eva, who’s haunted by the mysterious disappearance of her sister, Vera, 20 years ago, which happened under suspicious circumstances while the two sisters were on a Greek island and was never solved.
Eva, who was already a successful author, receives a telephone call from a detective declaring that new evidence has risen in Vera’s case. She started to be obsessed with knowing what really happened to Vera. On researching, the secret family history long buried, dark memories, and connections start to turn a little dangerous as Eva travels throughout Europe and reveals some not-so-funny truths about her life.
The novel is suspenseful and emotionally charged and revolves around themes of sisterhood, betrayal, loss, and redemption. Ekberg’s intense plot and atmospheric writing make for the perfect thriller, making the book a riveting read for fans of psychological thrillers.
