Description
Kill for Me, Kill for You is a crime thriller novel by Steve Cavanagh published in 2023. In itself, the book has been written in a great, psychologically gripping manner on the idea of bringing strangers together by common vengeance, inspired from the plot of the famous novel Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith.
The story revolves around two unknown characters, Amanda and Wendy, who are brought together with one common thing: profound vengeance. Both of them have endured extreme personal losses and try to find justice for the people they’ve lost. Amanda suggests a chimpling bargain to Wendy: they kill for one another, so neither is point-to-point involved in the crime that they commit. What starts out as what appears to be perfectly fleshed out plans immediately spirals out of control as the consequences of their acts become increasingly deadly.
Revenge, guilt, morality, the psychology of taking the law into one’s own hands-all these are portrayed in the novel. Kill for Me, Kill for You, with dark twists and complex characters in suspenseful pacing, is a thrilling thriller that keeps readers on the hook until the last revelation. Cavanagh, judging by his plot manipulation skill and responsibility in methodical handling of moral dilemmas, stands out in the crime genre.
